Advances in Internet of Things and Location


The SureThing workshop will present innovative developments, technologies, and challenges related to Internet of Things at large, and Location Based Services (LBS) in particular. Other relevant topics are: connected vehicles and 5G communications.

The workshop will feature a keynote talk by Prof. Joshua Siegel (MIT, MSU), a panel discussion with researchers and practitioners, from industry and academia, and presentation of intermediate results from the SureThing project that is building location proof systems for the Internet of Things. The project’s goal is to enable ubiquitous and pervasive applications with robust location proofs.
