CROSS City at AdHoc-Now 2020
Miguel Pardal presented Gabriel Maia’s work, CROSS City: Wi-Fi Location Proofs for Smart Tourism, at the 19th International Conference on Ad Hoc Networks and Wireless (AdHoc-Now), hosted by Politecnico di Bari. Because of the pandemic situation, the conference was remote, via the Microsoft Teams platform.
The presentation received good feedback from the audience. Questions were raised about the need to fully trust on the central server. Blockchain was suggested as a means to improve location proof creation.
